Clarendon Recreation Reserve

Clarendon Recreation Reserve, located just south of Ballarat in western Victoria, is a valued community hub featuring tennis courts, open spaces, and a newly built playground.

The brief

The reserve’s management committee wanted to add seating alongside their newly built playground, creating a welcoming space for families and visitors to eat, relax, and socialise. With additional funds allocated to the project, they were wanting to upgrade to a more premium sheltered seating option, adding a feature that enhances the playground and provides lasting value for the community.

Project Solution

Felton recommended The Deluxe Sheltered Park Setting as it met their requirements and budget, and had the option of coloured end caps, making it the perfect addition to the playground area.

Result

Facilities Manager Trevor Smith said everyone has loved the units since they were installed, and like how they blend in with the bushy surrounds and are not too “in-your-face”.
