Outdoor Picnic Tables at De Bortoli Winery

As the management of the De Bortoli Winery in New South Wales beautiful Hunter Valley well know, wine tasting is a sensory experience and  the environment where a wine is tasted can play a major role in the customer’s overall experience. Wanting to upgrade the customer facilities  for their outdoor tasting area, De Bortoli management contacted the team at Felton to discuss an outdoor seating solution.

Situated in Pokolbin, in the heart of the Hunter Valley’s renowned wine-making region, the De Bortoli cellar door is surrounded by a panoramic vista of sprawling vines, rolling hills and wide blue skies. To take full advantage this bucolic setting, De Bortoli needed outdoor seating that looked completely at home while still fulfilling the practical requirements of a busy cellar door. Made from a highly-durable, recycled plastic and timber composite with a natural look, the Peak Street A-Frame Picnic Table fit the bill perfectly. The 100% recycled plastic and timber composite is UV stabilised and will not warp or fade when left exposed to the elements in Australia’s harsh climate.

Comfortably seating up to eight people, each of the five, Charcoal Grey Peak A-frame Picnic Tables was customised with a central hole to allow for a shade umbrella. Manufactured to outlast and outperform timber, these settings will stand the test of time and many, many tastings. Importantly, the new Peak Street A-frame Picnic Tables were an instant hit with the cellar door customers who can now enjoy tasting wine, eating lunch and taking in the view on outdoor furniture that looks right at home in this beautiful environment.
