Picnic Shelters at the Forestry Corporation
The Forestry Corporation are responsible for more than 2 million hectares of state forests in NSW encompassing renewable timber estates, conservation areas as well as popular tourist destinations. Our state forests form treasures in the natural environment where visitors can relax, unwind and enjoy the many benefits that nature has to offer. So when the Forestry Corporation approached Felton to call for competitive bids to supply sheltered seating for one of their forest areas in Bathurst, we were keen to take on the project.
A significant amount of sheltered seating was needed to accommodate the numbers of people visiting the local region who at times required a place to sit, picnic and take shelter whilst enjoying the wonders of the beautiful forest environment. Essential in the decision making of the Forestry Corporation was that the selected outdoor furniture would need to tick all project requirements including affordability, durability, low maintenance, shelter and style.
Having witnessed the quality and the suitability of the Eco-Trend Sheltered Park Settings in local schools and at Bathurst Council, the team were assured that these would be the ideal option. The Forestry Corporation selected 5 Eco-Trend Sheltered Park Settings to form the focal point of their forestry picnic area. With a sleek contemporary design, each sheltered setting comes as an all-in-one unit, seating up to 8 people and offering maximum weather protection with a sturdy Colorbond roof. Engineered to the highest standards, and produced entirely in Australia from premium, Australian aluminium, our Eco-Trend Sheltered Park Settings will not rust, rot or warp and offer a premium quality, low maintenance seating solution.
The Eco-Trend Sheltered Park Settings were delivered on time and on budget and the Forestry Corporation were so happy with the outcome that they are looking to re-order more units before Christmas. They have also recommended the suitability of the picnic settings to other regional areas within the Forestry Corporation. And in turn we were thrilled to have had the opportunity to provide sheltered seating that people visiting the spectacular forest regions in NSW can use and enjoy for many years to come.
