Space-saving Pedestal Park Settings for Kawana Waters State College

Around 100km north of Brisbane on the spectacular Sunshine coast, lies Kawana Waters State College. With its campus situated between the Pacific Ocean and the shores of Lake Kawana the college is surrounded by natural wonders fit to inspire sporting and academic success. With an enviable climate, the P-12 college wanted to make better use of a small outdoor space for breaks and outdoor learning. Having previously worked with Felton Industries, they got back in touch with the educational team at Felton for some advice on what could work best.

Kawana Waters had a small section of underutilised outdoor space that they wanted to use for a variety of different activities, including seating large numbers of students outside. They needed low maintenance outdoor furniture that they could bolt down on to a concrete slab, and that was durable and would provide adequate seating and fit comfortably in the allocated space. The Pedestal Park Settings are constructed from strong square section framing for outstanding durability and are available in a choice of six vibrant powder-coated colour options. Safety end caps come as standard to ensure a neat, clean, safe finish and offer a further choice of colour. Kawana Waters opted for 8 Pedestal Park Settings to transform their outdoor areas. To match the existing outdoor space in school colours, they chose blue powder-coating and blue safety end caps for their settings. The school were thrilled with the outcome which now offers additional colourful, practical, well-used outdoor spaces for students to enjoy.
