When it came time for the Bega Valley Shire Council to replace grandstands in the shire area, they had some very specific requirements. Each grandstand needed to have a large seating capacity and appropriate viewing height as well as being suitable for four separate locations. Additionally, the Bega Valley Shire Council wanted the finished product to be delivered flat packed to site in readiness for construction by the council’s contractors.

After consultation with council representatives, the Felton Industries team custom designed four, seven tier, six-metre-long grandstands that fulfilled the council’s need to provide safe, comfortable seating with an excellent viewing position. Featuring 500mm footwell planking for easy access and a safety railing around the top tiers, the custom grandstands were made from premium Australian aluminium, ensuring unsurpassed, maintenance-free durability in all conditions.

The time frame for the project was just eight weeks from beginning to end including design, manufacture, on-site assembly and installation. As Felton Industries is a part of the Local Government Procurement Panel, the council was assured of a premium quality product at the best possible prices. We’re pleased to say that the council is as happy with the result as the spectators who now have a stylish and comfortable vantage point to support their local teams.
