Georges River College
For some time, the management at Georges River High School in Peakhurst, one of Sydney’s southern suburbs, had been wanting to install sheltered table and chair settings around the school. As there were a number of existing cement slabs at various locations, it seemed the only challenge was to select their sheltered settings from our range and have them installed in time to provide a shady amenity for the student body during the approaching summer months.
Unfortunately, after choosing their preferred setting style, a final measure of the site revealed that the product of choice could not be installed on the existing cement slabs. After a discussion with school management, the team at Felton Industries was able to offer a solution. Rather than installing the combined table and chair settings with shelter attached, we suggested a combination of our free standing BBQ Shelter and popular Park Setting. The BBQ Shelters not only offered a larger roof coverage area, they were able to be installed without concrete slabs as a foundation. Their Ironstone Colorbond roofs span a generous 2.6 metres x 2.4 metres and offer proven, weather resistant durability while their powder coated, aluminium frames add a sophisticated finish. Felton Industries’ classic Park Setting is a long standing favourite. Stylishly crafted from premium, Australian aluminium, they are versatile, attractive and represent fantastic value.
The completed installation was a great success. Without the need for further site modification, the team was able to provide a solution that exceeded the original brief at no additional cost to the customer and without any delay to the project timetable. Fortunately, solving problems is a challenge that the Felton team really enjoy. So, if you have an outdoor furniture challenge, please give us a call. You’ll make our day.
